Brianna Lau
Hi, my name is Brianna. I was born and raised in the Bay Area (California) and am a proud member of a multi-ethnic family and daughter of immigrant parents. I completed my undergraduate at Pitzer College and subsequently worked as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford Medicine where I co-led many research studies related to racial disparities and patient decision-making in cancer care. I am currently a first-year medical student at Chicago Medical School and am interested in AAPI and NHPI subpopulation disaggregation to analyze health outcomes and socioeconomic, cultural, and historical influences on care.
