Alana is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. Her research interests include investigating health disparities in service of Native Hawaiian and Indigenous populations, with a particular focus on substance use and suicide. She has previously worked as a counselor intern for NASA Johnson Space Center’s Employee Assistance Program and holds her Master’s degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
